Events Production
The Event Technician III : Assist the university community in the organization and operation of events. Acts as a liaison between building operations and the visiting university community. Able to operate and reconfigure in-house AV systems for event support as well as other equipment needed and reserved by the client for their event. Reports all client usage of facilities during shift and associated activities. Demonstrates the ability to utilize all EP Level 3 equipment.
The Event Technician II : Assist the university community in the organization and operation of events. Supports University events with technology including, but not limited to Sound, Video & Lighting (Setup, Operation, Execution, Repair, and Breakdown). Reports on all equipment used during event and summarizes event outcome. Assists in the training of newly hired Event Technicians. Acts as lead technician on all assigned events. The Event Technician position requires flexible working hours which may begin at 6am and end at 3am. Must have completed a semester as an Event Technician III. Demonstrates the ability to utilize all EP Level 2 equipment.
